Rachel Pollack - Rachel is considered one of the World's foremost authorities on the modern interpretation of the Tarot. She is also a poet, an award-winning novelist, and a Tarot card and comic book artist. She has published 12 books on the Tarot, including 78 Degrees of Wisdom, considered a modern classic and the Bible of Tarot reading.

Rescuing the Tarot From Psychology - In the 1980s the "Tarot Renaissance" "rescued" Tarot from its position as little more than a device for fortune-telling. One way this happened was to psychologize it--explore each card as a picture of a part of our psyches. That proved so successful that now it often seems difficult for people to see the cards in any other way. For this new century Rachel has been trying out approaches to once more open up the ways we look at Tarot. We will look at (and try out) theatrical fortune-telling, Wisdom readings, games, magical allies, and more.

Kay Stopforth - Inspired by photographs from the Hubble Space Telescope, Kay created her first deck, the Universe Cards in 1999. Her new Quantum Tarot was created by reading a book on superstring theory; Brian Greene's "The Elegant Universe." Kay felt Tarot would be the perfect vehicle for exploring the exciting and complex ideas of the new physics.

Quantum Tarot - This workshop applies a parallel approach to tarot, using paradox to enrich and deepen our readings. It will include Intuitive response, Back to Basics, The Paradox, and Putting it all Together.

Jane Struthers — Astrologer with Bella Magazine, formerly Gemini Jane with the Sun newspaper, Jane has written for Creative Ideas for the Home, OK Magazine. Author of many books including the Psychic Bible, The Palmistry Bible, The Destiny Tarot, The Tarot Kit and Working with Auras amongst others.

Finding Astrology in the Tarot - There are some important links between tarot and astrology, from the simple to the esoteric. Increasing our understanding of the astrological symbols and images in the cards helps us to deepen our interpretations, providing subtle layers of understanding that give us greater insight and can trigger our intuition. This interactive workshop will help us all to find astrology in the tarot and to use it in our readings.

Tim Sullivan - Tim’s background is in spiritual practices of Buddhism and Daoism, also working with tarot from the angle of a healer. A practising acupuncturist and massage therapist with particular interest in mental and emotional conflicts and how they interact in the body.

The four journeys through the minor Arcana - Looking at the four suits of the tarot as reflections of the four paths of personal development; i.e., Pentacles as representative of the path of devotion, Wands as the path of the creative, Swords as the path of wisdom and Cups the path of compassion. Relating these paths to the big spiritual traditions of our time, i.e. Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism.

Lunch time workshops:

Jane Lyle Author of the Lovers Tarot, Renaissance Tarot and The Fortune Tellers decks to name just a few of Jane’s popular publications. In this workshop Jane will teach you new ways of looking at relationship readings and spreads. This is designed to expand your readings when dealing with this often popular subject with clients.

Erik Thorell (workshop not recommended for beginners) In 1981 Erik laid out the Thoth tarot cards according to their astrological correlations. He discovered how the I Ching fits in minute details with the cards laid out in this way. He has had articles in Prediction and Vision Magazine and is the organizer of the London Tarot Meetup Group http://tarot.meetup.com/288/ 

TAI Divination, the fusion of Tarot, Astrology and the I Ching, probably for the first time ever.
